70's Roughies

Sorry People but i had to start a thread on these little New York gems that in my opinion are more entertaining than the rubbish around today.
From being a curious teenager (not that long ago) raiding my dads porn pile was a regular occurance and yes some were ok (remember Colour Climax) and some were not. But when i started collecting films and getting into the more obscure i could not believe my eyes when i feasted upon this beauty

I thought my world had all come together when i saw this evil little roughie directed by Shaun Costello about a vietnam vet who works at a garage and takes down young ladies ("damn hippies") adresses when they ask for the directions and off he go's to rape and kill. After watching this i quickly went out to find another sick roughie which i then found

Zebedy Colt is at his most deranged in this sick little beauty as he go's around holding people at knife point for sex, after watching these other films were soon to follow

Now i know some people will have a problem with these films, yes it is porn but it is an exploitation genre which is forgotten and ignored except for certain companies auch as AFTER HOURS CINEMA, ALPHA BLUE ARCHIVE.
Anybody else here recommend films or are equally fascinated by these little twisted gems from the back street grindhouses of the 70's?

i need a good list of essential "roughies" to check out.
don't know if thriller " a cruel picture" would be considered one.

I have Intrusion, Secret Desire, and A Dirty Western. Wonder how long it will be before someone attempts to revive this genre and if they do wonder which actresses they will get to star in them. scratch

She would fit in perfectly. Now on to who would make a roughie the only one That I think would in the mainstream tackle this genre would possibly be Rob Zombie don't see Quentin Tarantino or Eli Roth doing this but I do see this genre being handled by either Xavier Gens or the guys at Toe Tag or even Alexander Aja.
